Madison's Olbrich Botanical Gardens is hosting a juried fiber art exhibition this fall. I think it will be a great show, with about 25 artists participating. There is an opening reception today (which I have to miss, unfortunately, because I'll be out of town), and it will be up for about three months.
I have three 8" x 8.5" embroideries mounted in wood cigar boxes--Mother and Child, Leaving Home, and Letting Go--that are being displayed as a set titled Life Cycles (below):
And here's the invitation to the exhibition. (I never realized how it would affect my life to go from a late-in-the-alphabet "Lisa Shaffer" to an early-in-the-alphabet "Lisa Binkley" when Ed and I got married way back in 1986 :).
