This coming Wednesday, July 17th, one or two of my embroideries will be on TV! :) If you're in the Milwaukee area you should be able to see the news program "The Morning Blend" on WTMJ Ch.4 at 9:00 a.m. that day.
The lovely Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts is hosting their first biennial exhibition on the "State of the Art" of Wisconsin fiber arts. I'm honored to be one of 40 artists juried into the exhibition, which opens on July 17 and runs through September 29. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, July 21, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., which I'm looking forward to attending.
From what I could see when I dropped off my work on Thursday, it looks like it's going to be a very nice, interesting, varied exhibition. Be sure to check it out if you get the chance! The museum is at N50 W5050 Portland Road in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
