I'll be teaching "Dragonfly Fiesta" (below) on Sunday, February 19, 2012 to members of the Huntsville, Alabama chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America. That class is already full, and I've been getting questions about when I'll be teaching it again. So I wanted to post that I also plan to teach it on Sunday, November, 4, 2012 at Mill House Quilts in Waunakee, Wisconsin. I've got at least two more designs in the works using different colorways of these amazing Czech glass dragonfly buttons. So stay tuned!
wow...wish I lived closer so I could take one of your classes!

Thanks Sue. Keep checking my Upcoming Classes page--I may be in your area some day : ). I will be in northern Illinois in January of 2013, but that may still be pretty far to travel.

Lisa,
I found your blog through Nicole of Nicole's Beadbacking, and I'm really glad I did -- your work is stunning! I'm a huge fan of any kind of embroidery.
I hope you don't mind me playing blog matchmaker, but have you seen Susan Elliot's work? http://plays-with-needles.blogspot.com/ She does fabulous work, too.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your note and for the links to your site and Susan Elliot's. I had a great time looking at both of them. Your site and work are very fun, and I especially love your use of buttons in your bead embroidery. Susan's work and the photos on her blog are a real visual feast. Thanks for getting my day off to an inspired start : ). Lisa
